A new era of synthetic wigs in Australia
For decades, the trade-off in synthetic wigs was a simple one: convenience in exchange for realism. Synthetic wigs were easy to maintain, consistent in style, and significantly more affordable than human hair. What they gave up was movement. The individual response of each fibre to air, to touch, to light that makes a human hair wig feel alive was simply not achievable in synthetic construction.
Genesis changes that. Not by replacing human hair but by engineering a synthetic wig that closes the gap in the places that matter most: the hairline, the parting, and the way the wig moves.
The Genesis story
Genesis was nine months in development. The brief was specific: create a synthetic wig that a woman experiencing hair loss could wear to a board meeting, a wedding, or a school pickup and feel completely like herself. Not just comfortable. Not just passable. Genuinely confident.
The result is a wig built around three pillars: construction, fibre, and colour. Each one was approached with the same rigour we apply to our human hair collection. The only difference is the material.
Designed for modern women
Genesis was designed with a specific woman in mind. She is busy. She wants something that looks after itself between wears. She does not want to spend an hour in the morning on her hair. And she does not want to give up the option to curl it on a Tuesday when she feels like a change.
She may be navigating a health journey chemotherapy, alopecia, thinning, hormonal changes where a wig is not a luxury but a necessity. Or she may simply have found, after years of trying, that a premium-quality wig fits her life better than fighting her natural hair every morning. Both women deserve the same result.
Why Genesis is different
- Fully hand-tied construction. Every single strand of fibre in a Genesis wig is individually knotted into the cap. Not wefted, not machine-sewn hand-tied. This is the same construction used in the finest human hair wigs, and it is what creates natural movement in every direction. The cap moves with your head; the fibres respond individually.
- 0.5 ultra-fine knotting. The knot size matters. Larger knots create visible bumps at the root that break the illusion of a natural scalp. At 0.5, the Genesis knots are essentially invisible the base of each strand appears to emerge from skin, not fabric.
- HD lace front. High-definition lace is significantly finer than standard lace. It essentially disappears against the skin at the hairline, creating an undetectable edge that requires no concealer or cosmetic blending for most skin tones.
- Extended lace parting. Every Genesis wig features an extended lace parting that gives you flexibility to adjust the parting position across a wider area creating a personalised look that feels natural to you, not predetermined by the cap.
- Heat-friendly fibre to 150C. Premium synthetic fibre that tolerates heat tools up to 150 degrees Celsius. Curl it, wave it, straighten it the style holds, and the fibre is built to maintain its quality through repeated styling.
- Lightweight cap. The Genesis cap was designed with sensitive scalps in mind. The hand-tied construction distributes weight evenly rather than concentrating it at the weft rows, and the HD lace front reduces the grip required at the hairline. The result is a wig that can be worn all day comfortably.
The Genesis Colour Collection
Twelve shades, each one developed to read as a natural, dimensional hair colour rather than a flat synthetic tone. The palette was built around real salon-colour trends balayage, shadow roots, multi-tonal blends translated into synthetic fibre through a process that took multiple development rounds to achieve.
The shades span the full spectrum: Arctic Blonde and Vanilla Cream for the fairest end; Champagne Melt and Soft Linen Blonde for warm blonde tones; Golden Bronde and Caramel Eclipse for the brown-blonde blends; Warm Chestnut and Deep Espresso for rich brunettes; Midnight for true black; Burnished Auburn for warm red-brown; Iced Silver for the growing grey-acceptance movement; and Smoked Pearl for a soft, ash-toned silver-grey.
Each colour is available in the Classic 16" a shoulder-grazing length that was chosen specifically because it is the most versatile. Long enough for variety. Short enough for ease.

Who is Genesis for?
Genesis is for any woman who has been told that a synthetic wig cannot look this good. It is for women who need a wig that holds up to a full day a demanding schedule, a significant event, a health journey without asking them to think about it. And it is for women who have always wanted the look and feel of a premium wig without the commitment and care requirements of human hair.
If you are currently wearing one of our human hair wigs and looking for an everyday alternative, or if you are exploring our medical-grade wig range and wondering whether Genesis might suit your needs, our team is happy to guide you through the comparison. Frequently asked questions
What makes the Genesis Collection different from other synthetic wigs?
Genesis combines 100% fully hand-tied construction, an ultra-fine 0.5 knotting technique, premium HD lace front, and heat-friendly fibre that tolerates up to 150 degrees Celsius. Each fibre is tied individually, creating natural movement and realism that closely resembles human hair something standard wefted or machine-sewn synthetic wigs cannot achieve.
Can I use heat styling tools on Genesis wigs?
Yes. Genesis wigs use premium heat-friendly fibre rated to 150 degrees Celsius, allowing you to curl, wave, or straighten to your preference. Use a heat protectant spray before styling to extend the life of the fibre.
Can I change the parting on a Genesis wig?
Yes. Every Genesis wig features an extended lace parting, giving you flexibility to adjust the parting position across a wider area and create a personalised, natural look rather than a fixed one.
Are Genesis wigs suitable for women experiencing hair loss?
Yes. Genesis was specifically designed with the needs of women experiencing medical hair loss, alopecia, thinning hair, and chemotherapy-related hair loss in mind. The lightweight cap, soft hand-tied fibres, and realistic hairline make it a compassionate, everyday choice. If you would like to discuss Genesis in the context of your specific situation, our showroom appointments are private and unhurried.
Where are Genesis wigs made?

New to wig terminology?
What does 13x6 lace mean?
It describes the lace panel at the front of the wig: 13 inches across the hairline and 6 inches back. A larger lace area gives a more natural-looking hairline and more parting flexibility.
What density should I choose?
Density is how full the hair is. 150% is the most natural everyday fullness. 180% gives a fuller, more glamorous finish.
Full lace or lace front?
A lace front has lace at the hairline only. A full lace cap is lace all over, which allows parting anywhere and updos. Both give a natural hairline.

Are these wigs suitable for hair loss, alopecia or chemotherapy?
Absolutely, this is the heart of what we do. Our human hair wigs are gentle, lightweight and secure, and designed for sensitive scalps and hair loss from alopecia, chemotherapy and other medical treatments. If you would like a hand, a private consultation is the kindest place to start.
