Milk & Honey Wigs – Terms & Conditions of Sale
By placing an order with Milk & Honey Wigs, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before making your purchase.
1. Order Processing & Timeframes

All made-to-order human hair wigs are handcrafted and may take up to 8 weeks for production.

Processing and production times may be extended due to sourcing delays, customs, shipping disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances.

We operate from two warehouse locations:

Sydney, Australia

International
Dispatch origin is determined by stock availability and production requirements.

2. Refund & Return Policy

Refunds are not offered for change of mind, incorrect selection, or delays in production.

Refunds are only issued in the case of major faults or defects, as defined by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Any approved returns or cancellations will be issued as store credit only.

Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

All return requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receiving your order and must be approved prior to returning the item.
3. Delays
Delays may occur due to:

Peak production periods
-
Customs or shipping hold-ups

International freight issues
-
Material or hair sourcing delays
Delays do not constitute grounds for a refund or chargeback. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of extended wait times.
4. Chargebacks

By agreeing to these terms, you waive the right to issue a chargeback on the grounds of delayed delivery, made-to-order production timeframes, or change of mind.

Any chargeback attempts will be formally disputed and may affect your ability to purchase from Milk & Honey Wigs in the future.
5. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all details entered at checkout (contact information, shipping address, order notes, etc.) are correct.

Any errors, delays, or missed deliveries resulting from incorrect details are the customer’s responsibility and may incur additional costs.
6. Legal Compliance

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
NO WARRANTY & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY DISCLAIMER
Lace front wigs and lace closures are delicate, hand-crafted items requiring careful handling. Milk & Honey Wigs provides no warranty—express or implied—against damage, wear, tear, shedding, or loss of hair occurring after the item has been collected, delivered, worn, or used.
Once the product is in the customer’s possession, any damage caused by improper handling, application, storage, maintenance, or alteration is solely the customer’s responsibility.
Customer Misuse & Improper Care
The customer acknowledges that lace materials are extremely fragile. The following can cause irreversible damage, for which Milk & Honey Wigs accepts no liability:

Excessive or incorrect use of adhesive/glue

Sleeping in the wig or closure
-
Improper storage, brushing, washing, or maintenance
-
Exposure to heat, friction, chemicals, or rough handling
-
Any modification, tinting, plucking, cutting, colouring, or styling performed by the customer or a third party
Damage caused by any of the above does not constitute a manufacturing fault and will not be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
Identification of Manufacturing Faults
In accordance with the ACCC and Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to remedies for genuine major manufacturing defects.
To rely on these rights, customers must:

Inspect the item immediately upon collection or delivery.

Notify Milk & Honey Wigs within 24 hours if a manufacturing fault is believed to exist.

Return the wig unused, uncut, unaltered, and in original condition.
Failure to report issues within 24 hours, or evidence of installation, glue application, cutting, colouring, tinting, or styling, will be deemed customer-caused damage, not a manufacturing fault.
Under ACCC guidelines, businesses are not required to provide a remedy where issues arise from misuse, abnormal use, or failure to follow care instructions.
Replacement of Lace Closures
Lace closures may be replaced at the customer’s expense only.

Replacement cost: Approximately 50% of the item’s original price

Turnaround time: Approximately 1 month, depending on manufacturer availability

This service is not covered under warranty
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under the Australian Consumer Law, Milk & Honey Wigs’ liability is limited to remedies available for genuine manufacturing defects only.
No warranties apply regarding the longevity, performance, durability, or behaviour of the product once in the customer’s care.
